By purchasing cupcakes from the Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes shop it is assumed that you have read and accept our terms and conditions in full.
All prices are non-negotiable and priced according to your exact specifications of design and size of cupcake box/bouquet.
All payments are taken in full at check out via VISA, DISCOVER, AMEX and MC.
Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes does not cater to any dietary restrictions/sensitivities/allergies. We do not hold any responsibility for any food allergies or reactions to our product. Our products do not contain any nuts or nut products, everything is made in our home kitchen where nuts/nut products are consumed. We do keep all baking supplies/products in a separate area where there are no nuts.
All weddings and other large event orders require a booking fee of 50% of the total cost. Since events are booked in advance and a customer is unsure of the total amount of cupcakes needed, the booking fee will be based on a approximate amount. Final payment for all wedding and other large event orders must be made by 30 days prior to collection. If payment is not received by the date specified, this shall be constituted as breach of contract by the client. We reserve the right to hold the order until payment has been made in full.
For custom design orders, the option is available on the shop under order inquiry request. Final designs and choice of flowers/style are at the final discretion of Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes, to ensure the best style possible for each customer.
Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes cannot always guarantee 100% uniformity in color from order to order. With each order made, we do try our very best to achieve the exact color used with each picture that is seen on our website. Color variations may occur, depending on what products are in stock at the time; however, we always try to keep consistency. We do reserve the right to be able to modify the design or change presentation materials (tissue paper colors, bows, boxes, etc...) based on product availability without consulting the customer. If there is a major change that is necessary, we will consult with the customer prior to order completion to go over any changes.
Once an order is placed, adjustments and alterations may only be made at the discretion of Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes on an individual basis. We reserve the right to refuse any adjustments and alterations after an order is finalized. Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes reserves the right to increase the price in the event that the customer requests a change to the original order specifications on our product page. Due to preparing/baking/planning ahead, there will be no alterations allowed to an order 9 calendar days prior to reserved pickup date.
Wherever possible, Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes will try to accommodate requests to transfer pickup dates, however this may not be possible. It will depend on our order bookings for that time period (particularly for dates around special celebrations and holidays). The cancellation policy will apply, if we are unable to change your booking to your new date.
Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes reserves the right to refuse a refund of any order placed via this online shop should we deem it unreasonable or unsuitable to do so.
The following conditions will be implemented at the discretion of Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes when an order is cancelled, this does not include wedding/larger event orders:
- 14 or more calendar days from pickup date – payment is refunded in full
- 8-13 calendar days from pickup date – full credit will be offered to use for future shop purchases (valid for 6 months from date of cancellation) and booking is dependent on the availability of Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes booking schedule
- 0-7 calendar days from pickup date – no refund or credit will be issued
*For wedding/larger event order cancellations:
- Over 30 days before pickup/delivery date – all money paid will be refunded
- 11-30 calendar days before pickup/delivery date – 50% booking fee will be retained by Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes, remaining money paid will be refunded.
- 0-10 days before pickup/delivery date – no refund will be issued
In the unlikely event that Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes needs to cancel your order, we will contact you as soon as possible. Your payment will be refunded in full by Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes.
Collection date/times are selected via an online calendar by the customer. Once you have selected your preferred collection time it is your responsibility to adhere to the chosen time and date. Out of respect to us, please show up on time for your pick up due to other commitments/order pick ups that we may have. Any orders not collected within 30 minutes of the agreed upon collection time may need to be rescheduled, and any rescheduled collection times will be solely at Sugar in Bloom Cupcake's discretion and cannot be guaranteed under any circumstances. If the customer does show up after 30 minute window, Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes may be closed for the day for pick up.
Any non-collected orders due to sickness or extreme circumstances are refundable only at Sugar in Blooms Cupcake's discretion.
Any non-collected orders due to mixing up pick up dates/times, not responding to reminder texts/emails or no communication at all after a “no show” for pick up after 48 hours- it is under our assumption that you are not coming to collect. No refund will be given.
Delivery is not available as an option. Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes is a "pick up by customer only" service. The customer is fully responsible of pick up, which includes wedding/large event orders.
During pick up, we ask that all customers please have your vehicle prepared to transport your cupcakes safely. This includes the trunk and seats should be clear from other contents to allow the cupcakes to be safely placed on a flat surface. We suggest to keep the air condition on, do not leave in a hot car and please hold from the bottom while carrying. Upon arrival, please alert us via text message and we will bring your cupcakes to your vehicle. I do watch for customers to pull up and directly hand them to you, no need to leave your car! We ask that you do not honk your horn or knock on the door while waiting.
Once the cupcakes are handed over at pickup and are in the customer’s possession, Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes is not responsible for any damage incurred due to transport/improper handling or storage. Directions on how to handle the cupcakes are given verbally to each customer during pick up. We do place a "care instructions" label on all orders to have in writing as well.
Due to the perishable nature of these products, we do not recommend keeping them at room temperature for longer than 3 days. Cupcakes should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat in the box provided. They should not be refrigerated, they will dry out. For left over cupcakes, they can be frozen in an air tight container for up to a month.
If you are in any way unhappy with your order, please inform us promptly to discuss options for any possible rectification. Rectification can only be made on return of the cupcakes to Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes in their original packaging. Sugar in Bloom Cupcakes will then review the returned product and may make a discretionary gesture of goodwill based on the condition of the cupcakes. Refunds or replacements cannot be issued without return of product. Please inform us of any issues within 48 hours of pickup to give us fair opportunity to assess the nature of your concern. If we do give the customer a replacement of the order, please allow time to remake the cupcakes within 24 hours from the return/assessment of the cupcakes.
